"Agent deployment" is a phrase we hear often. But in real business scenarios, deployment cannot simply mean that an Agent can talk, respond, or complete a demo workflow. Across the industry, that gap between a working demo and a production system is exactly where most AI initiatives stall — the bottleneck tends to sit in the deployment model, not the underlying model quality.
That was the core question WIZ.AI CEO Jianfeng Lu addressed on stage at AGI Playground 2026 in Singapore, hosted by Founder Park: from conversation to execution — what is still missing for AI Agents to deliver autonomously?
The eventual belief of an Agent is to solve a real business issue
As Jianfeng shared during the panel, that belief is deeply connected to how WIZ.AI builds and evaluates its products. For an enterprise AI Agent to be truly deployed, it must be able to move from conversation to reliable execution — able to hold up against real customers, real edge cases, and real production constraints, not just a curated demo script.
That means looking at several dimensions:
- Business relevance — Is it solving a real operational problem, not just answering a question nobody in the business actually has?
- Reliability — Can it perform consistently across real conversations, edge cases, and production environments, not just the scenarios it was demoed on?
- Execution capability — Can it complete the workflow end to end, not just provide an answer and hand the rest back to a human?
- Integration — Can it work within existing systems, processes, and compliance requirements, rather than living as a standalone tool bolted onto the business?
- Trust — Can teams monitor, govern, and continuously improve its performance once it is live, not just at the point it first ships?
None of these dimensions are optional extras layered on top of a working Agent. Jianfeng's point was that they are what "working" actually means once an Agent moves from a controlled demo into a live business process.
Autonomy is not only about reducing human input
It is about building systems that businesses can trust to deliver outcomes repeatedly and responsibly — not automation for its own sake, but automation a team is willing to stake a real process on.
At WIZ.AI, the true measure of Agent deployment is not whether an Agent can hold a conversation, but whether it can help enterprises execute better, faster, and more reliably. That is the standard WIZ.AI holds its own products to, and the standard Jianfeng argued the wider industry should be judged against as Agent deployment moves from pilot budgets into core operations.
